Moraine Lakeview DGC at
Moraine State Park
Sponsored by: Brent Mayes, Discraft
The par-66 championship-level Lakeview Disc Golf Course opened to the public in the Spring of 2005 and features two par 5's, eight par 4's, and eight challenging par 3's. The hole distances indicated on the teepad signs are measured from tee to the center of the green.
This challenging, beautiful course rewards accuracy accuracy, both off the tee and on approach shots. Having the power to throw far will help with longer holes, but shot shaping is important for the course's many wooded holes. Spectacular views and scenery are abundant on the course, with fairways covered in grass, ferns, or carpets of moss. Most holes have elevated tees or greens, with mostly open fairways and many well-positioned guardian trees. Take water on the course - a round of disc golf at Moraine is a strenuous, but rewarding workout.
