Deer Lakes DGC at
Deer Lakes Park

Sponsored by: DGA

Course Designers: J. Gary Dropcho, Tom Moeller, Dan Sauers

Opened in 2006, Deer Lakes Disc Golf Course takes its name from the three fishing lakes and a healthy deer herd in this 1,180 acre regional Allegheny County park. The disc golf course features a front and back nine layout that loop from the Blue Gill parking lot. Two practice baskets, bathrooms, a water splash park, playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment, bike and hike trails, and pavilions are among the park facilities available to disc golfers.

This challenging course will test even the most seasoned disc golfers ability to shape shots, with high-risk, high-reward shot opportunities available on nearly every hole. Gullies, water hazards, and long, thin, wooded fairways are accompanied by more open, hilly, and green fairways, providing some respite from the challenge.
